And we absolutely need a bonus episode, please Dropout, in which these 6 people share their approach for inbox zero. Because I'm with Raph . . .
My partner and I played along while watching and didn't do too badly.
Ify and Emily are horny-on-main, ENM relationship GOALS. And it turns out they also do a relationship advice podcast, called podcasts.apple.com/au/podcast/o.... So if you also need more Ify and Emmy after this episode, check it out.

But my obsession is this week's episode, The Newlyweb Game. Three couples are tested based on what their partners know about their phone habits.
The first episode was hilarious - between the parodies of other gameshows and Brennan's speechifying on the virtue of trying your best my whole family was laughing together.
Seriously, if you haven't subscribed to Dropout yet, this season of GameChanger has been 🔥.
Week 7 of making things my entire personality, after a bit of a life events hiatus: this week's episode of Game Changer on DropoutTV.
While not strictly breakfast listening (I usually listen to it as I'm falling asleep), the podcast The Empty Bowl, now on its 99th episode, is a soothing low-stakes conversation about the latest and greatest in cereal innovation. www.themcelroy.family/emptybowl
This morning's breakfast - "Cinnamon Bun Inspired" pancakes from a Trader Joe's mix, and bacon. The pancakes turned out a little dry, but serviceable (we only had faux milk on hand, which probably affected the result). Still better than frozen pancakes.
Week 6 of making things my entire personality until it stops being fun. This week - breakfast. Is it the most important meal of the day? Is cereal a dessert or a breakfast food? Is cereal soup? What about brunch?
Alas, my whole Week 5 personality is work/life balance or lack thereof. Back next week, and in the meantime go support your union strike fund!

so, to conclude:

we’re leaving behind us in 2023 the faith we put in the institutions that didn’t protect us, but we’re also leaving behind the way their failures made us cynical and despairing. we’re manifesting the kind of relentless strategic optimism that gets shit done at the ground level.

I’m doing my year-end tarot workshop, and on past New Year’s Eves I’ve pulled anchor cards for anyone who wants one. but I can never get through them all and I feel bad! so this time I’m just going to do a little three-card spread for all of us from Yoshi Yoshitani’s Tarot of the Divine deck.
This Might Hurt Tarot is my absolute favorite Tarot deck. And you can follow the creator here on bsky!

John Paul Brammer's Hola Papi! In and Out list was a fun read, and the one that really got me was "What's In: Library Cards"

It was a very cool surprise to find my Savage Rebellion series, the final book of which, SAVAGE CROWNS, came out this year, on Tor Dot Com’s Reviewers’ Choice roundup of the best books of 2023. I’m grateful to Vanessa Armstrong for reading the trilogy and shouting it out. www.tor.com/2023/12/13/t...

It’s been a very good year for reading. The book releases in the genres of science fiction, fantasy, young adult, and beyond took us to faraway kingdoms, beyond the stars, into haunted houses…

Week 3 of making something my whole personality until the experiment stops producing dopamine. This week my personality is: end-of-year lists! The best, the worst, the unforgettable.
As it turned out, she was one of the presenters at the conference. It was delightfully affirming.
At a one-day professional conference I was idly spinning some Pokestops while waiting for the next session to start when the very professionally attired woman to my left leaned over. I braced for the question about what I was doing, but instead she offered to swap friend codes.
