There are peeps with a variety of complex disabilities who CAN'T do alt text.
If you are pushing for use of alt text then PLEASE mention us & the # AltTextForMe & AltTextForYou. There are also Ai options but Ai isn't ideal.
However, both those options can be problematic 1/tbc

Lilo and Stitch meant the world to me as a young adopted Indigenous girl. Haven’t seen the remake but hearing that Lilo gets handed over to foster care is heartbreaking, problematic, and not in alignment with the original movie message at all.

I read that children 6-12 are more likely to be killed in Gaza because they’re too big to be carried, and not as fast as children 12+, and I can’t stop thinking about it. We have children running for their lives on the regular so much so that there are patterns as to who survives.

The spread of Mpox in Sierra Leone is unlike anything we have ever seen - and we have been keeping an eye on this bug in the region for >15 years.
