So I ended up bullying myself about not drawing everyday, which would make me associate drawing with feelings of frustration and guilt -- which is the exact opposite thing you want to feel when you feel burnout approaching.

Tbh, the best way I deal with this is to just drop the pen and back off for a while. I used to think drawing a little everyday "even if it's bad" was exposure therapy for my self esteem issues, but it just made me feel I was torturing myself with hobbies I was already using to escape the big sads
