I am hoping you can post to spread the word.

As you may or may not be aware. The LPN’s and HCA’s union AUPE have been in negotiations for 20 months with AHS regarding a new collective bargaining agreement.

It is so important that all LPN’s and HCA’s who are with AUPE have gone onto their website and created an account or called the union office to get their member ID to create their account.

Getting emails from AUPE does not guarantee you have created your account.

Creating an account allows you to vote on the possibility of an upcoming strike, and if a strike does eventually happen makes it so you can get strike pay.

My email isn’t meant to debate whether LPN’s/HCA’s deserve what they are asking in negotiations. I want to make sure families are prepared and informed if it comes to a strike.

I think the most frustrating part of my job atm is that my Dept Chair is asking me to book a shit lot of meetings, but he's got exactly 3 one hour slots (all after hours) this week, and that's it.

So he asks me to book things, but offers ZERO availability, so I have to go back and ask him anyway.

I just tried to preorder covid vaccines for 2026-27, & it told me I had "reached the maximum number of pre-orders allowed for this immunization season"

I ordered 2 for 2025-26 and we already received our shots, but had not ordered for 2026-27 before I tried today
