9 years ago we held the first Digifest. It hasn't always been easy since, but I've much to be thankful for, made many new friends, and produced much that I'm proud of. This weekend, Sanja and I will once again take to the stage at Chunky Fringe. Come meet us!

One of the entertaining by-products of starting vids by saying "We're on a quest to find Britain's most boring city" is that some locals interpret that as "THEY CALLED MY CITY BORING!!" and fly into an immediate rage. Makes the comments section more fun though. www.youtube.com/watch?v=oeGX...

My recollections from jumping on the #teletext bandwagon in 2023, after missing out on the comeback event in 2022 due to uni, relieved that I hadn't missed my last chance.

And if all goes to plan, I'll be back in Harrow this Saturday for #ChunkyFringe 2025!

I honestly thought I'd lost my chance to be involved with the teletext community. A few years ago, I found a random reference to a one-off teletext get-together that had happened even more years prior, where updates had been beamed to a few venues using TVs which had been adapted to receive teletext via the internet.

"That's so cool," I thought, "I didn't know you could even do that!"

And so began a journey down a rabbit hole of nostalgia. There were VBITs and inserters and packet data and teletext recovery from VHS?!
