It Was Just an Accident is pretty good. I’m not sure I’m as high on it as some, but it’s certainly a strong film.

What a poster. As if I wasn’t already over the moon excited for this.
The first poster for Mona Fastvold's The Testament of Ann Lee, opening Christmas Day.

I never want to wait for a post credit scene again for the rest of my life. If you want me to think it's part of the movie, put it in the movie.

I think we're due for another Mickey Rourke performance that makes everyone realize how great Mickey Rourke is when the material is challenging.

A House of Dynamite is pretty good. The stories have a little more overlap than I’d like and that ending is ridiculous, but an incredibly stacked cast and some really thrilling individual scenes are enough to compensate.

I LOVED Die My Love. A mix between A Woman Under the Influence and Antichrist, and somehow it’s as amazing as that sounds.

Really let down by del Toro’s Frankenstein. It’s technically impressive and well-acted, but its screenplay feels like a checklist of big plot points from the novel with nothing going on underneath.

Why is he made up like he's going to play Detective Vargas in a remake of Touch of Evil
Question: [Saudi Crown Prince] MbS has said they won't join the Abraham Accords without a two state solution. Do you believe that?

Trump: No. I think he is going to join. I think we are going to have a solution but I don't know if it's going to be two states.

Liked Bugonia a lot. Not quite on the level of Lanthimos’ last few but still damn good.

The Worst Thing About The Worst Movie of the Year

Last year's Halloween special was on Francis Ford Coppola. The year before that was on Ingmar Bergman! This year... oh boy. It's not the horror movie 2025 needs but it's the one it deserves.

Watching Close Encounters of the Third Kind. This is one of my favorites of all time, probably my favorite Spielberg. Some times other ones eclipse it for a while, but then I watch it again and think "No, this is it. This is everything he's about."

After the Hunt is decent, I guess. There’s some stuff I like, some I don’t. Unfortunately the film focuses a little more on the latter.
