i think mojang probably could have done something to gently discourage living in mushroom biomes before it was too late and players have by now built 10+ year old hardcore bases in them which would be rudely disturbed from an update like that. that would be so mean and not funny.

i think the way i spread personality out across groups of characters rather than just 1 character having a more complex personality feels unintentionally poetic for how i feel like i rely on peeps a lot psychologically and socially :T
