Remember, profit from shares and therefore capital gains tax, and most investment property isn’t added to income for income tax purposes.
So the wealthy are only paying 24% tax as they aren’t part of PAYE, whilst somebody earning 52K is paying 40% tax.

If you’re going to criticise Rachel Reeves at least come up with some credible alternatives. I think all things considered it was a rather fair budget from Labour.
