Guess I should pin an introduction post. Hi, I'm Mitch. I married my high-school sweetheart in a suburb of Chicago 35 years ago, raised three adults together (the kind we're proud of), and moved the the Seattle area when Microsoft bought FASA Interactive, the video game company I worked for.

The thing I absolutely love about Shadowrun is it’s a broad canvas to comment on the real world. That’s an inherent part of its DNA. See Dunkelzahn for more details.
But biggest issue I have with Shadowrun these days started a while back. It became less of a commentary on the world. It lost its punk along the way. Shadowrun should piss off folks. The early game managed to keep that anti corporate, anti establishment vibe, but that is harder to find now. 3/
