It seems to me, whatever the US thinks and does automatically ensures the we in the UK follow suit shortly after. That being so, even though we have watched Trump and his disastrous policies unfold, we’re almost certain to elect Reform at the next GE. I really hope i’m wrong.

The Conservatives are proposing to leave the ECHR if they get elected which is like a couple splitting up because on of them left the cap off of the tooth paste. The ECHR might not be perfect and it might need tweaking but it’s still worth fighting for.

Call me an old cynic but my view is that the people of Gaza are not going to get very much out of this deal other than the bombing has stopped. For that they and we should be grateful. But the vultures are already circling. There’s money to be made. They will soon forget about a 2 state solution.
