This is essentially what happened to Ahmaud Arbery. When white folks don’t want to mind their business, they are incredibly dangerous to Black folks. He’s recording because he knows that man would kill him if not.
Please Google “sundown towns” if you are somehow unfamiliar.
Expect more of these terrifying communities to become all the more dangerous for Black Americans, as Project 2025 policy implementation continues.

No coming back from this. The process is already 50% complete:

If refusing to comment is enough to kill a story, then the government now has veto power over journalism.
That’s what CBS normalized last night — and it should scare everyone.

Pulling a finished investigation because the administration refused to comment isn’t journalism. It’s submission.

His lab was humming with discovery. After one year under Trump, it’s almost silent
John Quackenbush built a lab that is at the forefront of human genetics research and bioinformatics. Trump administration cuts have put it in danger of collapse.

i have no problem if Trump wants to put his name on this building, and it is much more fitting for him and what he has done in office. He can call it the Donald J. Trump White House of the Confederacy. Trump has done far more damage to America than Jefferson Davis ever hoped.

Before satellite mega-constellations began taking off in 2019, satellites used to go months without risking a collision in orbit.

Now they have less than a week to take evasive maneuvers, and the window keeps shrinking. My @sciam.bsky.social story below.

Exclusive: The Trump administration is moving to dismantle the National Center for Atmospheric Research in Colorado, according to a senior White House official, taking aim at one of the world's leading climate research labs.

This lawless behavior is par for the types of people DHS/ICE/CBP have recruited—the orgs are toxic to their core.
ICE pepper-sprayed this 1-year-old girl.

Once at the hospital, the doctor had to call in a poison control specialist.

They had never seen anyone that young pepper sprayed.

Another horrific story.
