My grandmother’s family was murdered in the chambers of Auschwitz. She survived and told me never let it get that far. Make them shoot you in public before they murder you in hiding. Stand up for others. Never cave in fear of the Nazis or the holocaust will happen again.

As a former member of law enforcement in Uvalde, I exposed on social media the day after the massacre my concern as to the ineptitude of law enforcement's handling of the investigation. I'm wondering if anyone involved in the Brown U investigation will have the same courage?

There are certain human beings that transcend any expectations as to human decency and kindness. Living angels who make the rest of us appear to be mere mortals. Rob Reiner was one of those humans.

Part of the issue is doing the gerrymander can backfire if the winds change. Doing the gerrymander makes it possible to lose seats and end up worse than 7-2. Gerrymandering more would be a gamble.
