There's someone who has been coming into the shop lately; she liked some books I have in our recs section, so last time she came, I handed her two I thought she would like. She came back to shop again today, and started crying a little at how much they hit for her, and honestly, fav part of the job.

Oh no way!!! That is so cool! I remember watching the series for the first time in high school, and it was so special to me, to see a show focused around this friend group of girls like me. It's still one of my favorites to this day. ❣️

At a few points the combat was tedious but if you manage your items and upgrades well, it can be much more manageable, and since a lot of it carries into NG+, I expect it to be more of a breeze on the 2nd round!

I really enjoyed it! I think the story was strong, although the more psychological elements you expect from an SH game don't kick in hard at first. And I understand the story changes on repeat plays with different endings. (1/2)

I finished my first playthrough of Silent Hill f the other day, looking forward to starting playthrough number two soon! I also played The Excavation of Hob's Barrow, a little point and click adventure just dripping with folk horror vibes
