Finally got to see* Autechre live last night. Went right down the front, nodded my head next to some very advanced ravers determinedly bopping along for the whole gig. 1.5 hours of unbroken mayhem, absolutely amazing.

If they put an algorithm on the TL on this site I will give up on social media. I want to see posts from people I follow, when they post them. That is it. In years to come, when social media is dead, they will blame it's demise on deviating from this very simple formula

Working on some stems that a talented jazz keyboard player friend has sent me, they're really good, but the timing is very, er, natural, and suddenly I understand why Logic has all this tempo analysis and flex-time stuff in it. You can just fix slightly wonky bits like magic, amazing

The last time I put out some tunes the label used AI for the artwork, which I was not wild about. This time I made sure, as with my music, that nobody was stolen from for the graphics either.
The image here is a photo I took in Berlin in 2008, I think it fits the vibe of the title track.

Saw this leggy fella on the way through town earlier. Also saw one flapping along a few miles away, pretty sure it wasn't the same bird. Yeah I know they're common as pigeons in some places but we don't have many of them so two in one day is pretty nice
