I have written to Lisa Nandy, following her grossly misleading comments over the Maccabi Tel Aviv ban.

This is about a group of fans with a history of racism and violence. It is not about banning Jewish people - and any attempt to conflate the two is shameful.
Those in England who speak of "cultural coherence" should be careful their arguments don't instantly run into soft sand.

Are those who move to Wales, refusing to take part in our culture and language and even hating them "culturally coherent"? No. They're not.
@mrjamesob.bsky.social I can assure you that those who move to live into Wales are rarely "coherent" with our culture and language and rarely have any intention of being so.

This kind of rhetoric is not only dangerous but utterly ignorant.
Yesterday's inversion around the western slopes of the Carneddau, Eryri.

About 10 Celsius under the cloud, around 22 Celsius (feels like temp) above it (from about 750m amsl). Air so dry it was like pins in the nostrils at times.

Very, very tired now!

Today's homework: look up Marxism, instead of jumping to the Farridge pub-talk conclusion that it's bad.

Far-right millionaire tells the workers they shouldn't vote in their own interests.

@mrjamesob.bsky.social Surely, the reluctance to not protest is, in many cases, a response to the degree to which the Israeli far-right seeks to suppress all dissent within the UK and more widely?
Very few products are made with anything other than the lightest of wind in mind. Practically nothing is made to withstand UK and certainly not north west Wales winds. I always make my own such structures. None of them have been damaged in over 13 years.

A screenie from the final part of the series, there's a short or two incoming as well but we are largely at the end of that series of content.

Will be catching up later today. 👍
@mrjamesob.bsky.social Very good discussion, providing the necessary nuance.
More clear evidence of who these 'politicians' are working for. The whole system has been bought by the elite to do their bidding.
If parroting Farage's meddling with the ECHR is Starmer's taking the fight to Reform, then he is simply doing what he's always done.

Pathetic fascist control freak who has no idea about anything outside his highly-controlled environment.
The catch is: more nuclear, with no solution to the past 60 years of waste, let alone resources to fund it for thousands of years and the immorality of shunting today's problems onto infinite future generations. And more North sea drilling...
The very next day after claiming he's standing up to Farage, Starmer's first announcement is that he's...parroting a Reform policy of abandoning certain elements of our human rights.

Of course, none of this will affect how the state treats *you*, yet...

'The High Street' is just a long-dead myth, akin to
'British values' and other such nonsense. Consumers voted with their feet and sat down to click instead.

We can bring shops back, if we allow them to operate with very low or no business rates and so on. Even then, it won't be easy.
