A game programmer for 20+ years, but my day job is fiber network design. Feel free to talk to me about anything. I am into game development, music, reading and politics. My current games are Factorio (Pyanodon's mod), Far Cry 4 & GemCraft Frostborn Wrath

He could sell it for a half billion dollars.
And somebody in the world would buy it.
It's not even his, it is OUR White House. It belongs to the people.
They even had to MAKE a scandal! They couldn't get over him wearing a tan suite!
No scandals, no bribery, solid appointments, respected as an orator worldwide. No wacky races videos, bombing of Venezulan fishermen, insulting Australian reps, South African and Ukrainian presidents.
No wrecking the sacred walls of TWH or threats to Panama and Greenland! Those were the days eh!
orchestrate a team to infiltrate a complex - and not even kill any guards - could be a LOT of fun
That sounds like it could be lots of fun.
The only game I know that is similar is Far Cry 3 & 4 (maybe later games), where you can throw rocks to get guards to wander away from protection, and then knife them in the back. Or go guns blazing when your stealth fails.
A game where you could ->
I've started doing a bit of writing. It's a bit fun (and challenging), trying to role-play multiple characters, to get to the scenarios you're after
plans to make it so that they control your PC more than you do, and completely ditch any sense of privacy. I think I still have a lot to learn about Linux, though; but that's okay. I can already do everything I used to do in Windows... so far, at least.
still fail.) It's honestly understandable, because all this was written by volunteers who aren't able to factor in every niche situation someone may encounter.
But finding other people that have 'been through it' has been invaluable. Overall I think this has been a good move, since Microsoft ->
this point is... building an operating system isn't easy; the struggle is real, and you can see it in the seams. The OS gives you ample warnings about making critical changes to your system, as if to say 'We can try, but I can't guarantee this will work'. (Windows doesn't have that... but it can ->
I haven't posted in a while, but I have recently switched to using Linux (Mint-Cinnamon). It's been an experience, and some tasks can be nervous, but considering the way Microsoft is going, it's worth the effort.
I have been a computer user for over 30 years now. My impressions of Linux at ->
It also shows that there is NOTHING Trump can do to stop the rallies or even reduce their effects. He is losing control, and this is all he can do.
We are still growing
I listen to Spotify while at work. They played an ad for ICE recruitment. I was appalled.
But thinking about it... go ahead and let ICE spend their money trying to recruit me. It'll never happen.
Okay; they don't have ENOUGH incentive. But... I don't know what incentives they do have to resume the government. We will see all the consequences of this shutdown, while the GOP will see none of it.
It wouldn't surprise me if all the GOP politicians are on the list; almost all of them are rich anyways.
I say we accuse them of being on the list until they vote to release it.
Antifa is short for anti-fascist.
That's literally all there is to it. Trump is trying to make a national enemy out of everyone that is against fascism.
Yeah - because they have no incentive to get the government running again. We the people will see major consequences for this shutdown (that they are shielded from), and the GOP... simply don't care.
This could be the first step in organizing greater ways to resist Trump, and become a network to help each other out in dire times. We sure as hell need more Community in this country. Our isolation plays benefits fascists in hundreds of ways
If you want something you can personally do: do what I did & get to know your neighbors. I put a flyer in their mailboxes inviting them to a meetup in our cul-de-sac; nothing political, just get to know each other. Half my neighbors came, it was a good time. They even set up a street-wide yard sale
I'm all for ideas, if you have any
My idea is to protest directly in front of Trump & the rest of the GOP. Follow them everywhere with crowds demanding answers for their actions.
Remind them that they work for the people, and we're angry. Their bubble of wealth won't keep them safe from us. ->
Think of protests as a recruitment tool. It shows people that they are not alone in this fight. People can meet others that are also in the resistance.
We are not using these effectively enough. They should be a springboard to get people more involved in organizations. We need to work on that.
Will MSM even interview the Democrats? Will they paint them in a positive or even truthful light?

You gotta remember, MSM is all owned by the rich, who support Trump. They can use their platforms to spread whatever message they want. They don't have to tell the truth.

We don't have to support them
But they're used to lying through their teeth all the time. They do it so much it's second nature - it's part of the job.
Their lies don't need to be cohesive. They can keep spewing fresh new lies every day.
Their supporters don't care about truth or logic in it. It's about feeling & believing them.
Presidential immunity only applies to official acts. I doubt arresting people for random wrong-doings qualifies... but it'd be up to the courts to decide (not every case warrants getting appealed up to the Supreme Court)
Or maybe they should all walk out when Trump starts rambling (If there's nothing important to report, why stick around?).
Seriously, the news companies are under no obligation to show up to press releases, the government can use other means to inform the public
Dang; so that's why I haven't seen any ICE agents here (in Kentucky)
There is none, unfortunately.
It is supposed to be up to the people to vote them out - or keep them from getting elected to begin with. But we have no legal way to remove beyond elections.
I think that needs to change. We can be fired at any moment, while their jobs are guaranteed until elections
