I'm sure the system will survive, but it will necessarily need to change and adapt to fix the deficiencies that allowed this to happen in the first place. This is why I hope that, sooner rather than later, the Dems can secure a House+Senate supermajority so they can actually make that happen.

The moratorium on evictions is good, but it doesn't solve the underlying problem, and doesn't help with businesses who lost business because they had to close due to ICE kidnapping their employees, which means they'll owe back rent that will be very difficult for them to pay back.
