Problem is, we (The UK and EU) lack the ability to make the hard choices, to do what is necessary.

Example: The cargo ships and trawlers that routinely cut the undersea cables etc..

We should be boarding those ships and at the very least executing the captains of these vessels.
I'm sorry are we going to keep ignoring the fact that Russia has attacked this country by Novichok or was that cool because the intended targets were foreign?

Less that 1% of UK students used it pre-Brexit, & the vast majority of that 1% were upper middle class students

For most of the middles classes, t was paradise until relatively recently, despite the fact that the working classes have suffered heavily over the last 20 years.
Strangely enough or not, most of the pushback I get on the current economic situation comes from anonymous accounts. Who want to claim that life was a paradise until recently. Perfect segue btw into a Reform argument that if only we got rid of the immigrants etc etc
Not sure how you can be so confidently fuckwitted about inflation and the worldwide affordability crisis but here you are being astoundingly, unrepentantly fucking stupid on purpose. Incredible. Amazing. Great work.

I can almost guarantee that a lot of people calling him out over this also wouldn’t fight, or have their own children fight.

Secondly, a lot of the working classes will be the ones expected to do the fighting, the same classes that have been mocked and abused over the years by many “progressives”.
Again these people aren't patriots.

They hate our country and are allied to others who hate it too.

Nothing will ever be achieved by seeking to appease them

Most (but by no means all) online retailers do, it’s just whether or not the person buying wants to pay more.

Majority of people don’t.
This is not news. Companies need to give their customers a choice of courier. Then Evri would either start treating their employees well or go out of business

I already knew all about this, very few people will care about it though.

Proper working class issue, so very few people will be interested.

All the usual “progressives” will be ignoring this.

Just pointing out that the UK has the highest pension and minimum wage we ever had. Also the highest level of regulatory protection.

Because it is rarely mentioned when everyone talks about how terrible everything is.

I’m forced to agree with this.

Doctors aren’t the only ones who have had stagnated wages over the past 14 years.
I understand the doctors frustration after 14 years of Tory cruelty toward them.

Labour has given them a 30% pay rise with more rises to come and they are ongoing discussions with regards other grievances they have with regards training and working conditions.

I cannot support this strike.

What an incredible act of humanity.
Incredible footage out of Australia, confirmed by NEWS AU, of a brave bystander neutralizing one of the terrorists in the Bondi Beach attack which took place during a Hanukkah gathering.

Australian authorities say multiple people have been killed.

At least two suspects are in custody.

Reminder:

Trump is symptom, not the cause.
Remember when we were not losing jobs in droves, or at odds with all our allies, or attacking other nations for their resources, or deploying masked thugs to terrorize our citizens, or pardoning drug traffickers and violent criminals in exchange for bribes?

It was only little over a year ago.

At the moment European institutional disintegration is more likely as mainstream political leaders fail to find the paths and explanations out of decline, and populist nationalists have seductive words that will exacerbate the problems.
The simple fact is that domestic politics, security, geopolitics, and economics are all lining up for enormous institutional change at European level.

European values are in jeopardy and we can't just let them fade into the sunset. The UK needs to be at the heart of this change.
