There have been 16 confirmed layoffs across the games industry with just under 900 known employees impacted. The real number is likely over 1,000 to account for the studios that haven't made numbers public.

A reminder that the Trump Administration has frozen citizenship oath ceremonies for three months now, originally using the government shutdown as an excuse, effectively eliminating the already scant pathways to citizenship. Those who passed their citizenship interview in October have been in limbo.

I have a Latin wife who's not really the "whitest-looking" woman. The fact that it's clear they don't care as long as you look a certain way is terrifying.

Ubisoft headcount has declined by over 3,000 people since the start of a €300 million cost reduction plan.

Today they said they plan €200 million more in cuts by March 2028
One source I've spoken with anticipates layoffs to be in the "hundreds" when they happen at Ubisoft.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's more than that.
