22 sirens weren’t working on the day of the May tornado. Nearly 7 months later, 10 still aren’t working. This remains unacceptable. www.stltoday.com/news/local/g...

The public deserves a rebuttal to some of Browning’s assertions in the interview. Notably on Cortex* & “the experts” at SLDC**

Due to Shenandoah being platted out about 50 feet south of its track east of Grand when Shaw was subdivided, that old trail on the map extending westward from Grand likely runs through my bedroom now.
STL City's population in 1880 was 350,000 and the large majority lived in an area under 10 sq. miles. It's existing boundaries were created in 1876 but most of the city was undeveloped.

1875 Pictoral St. Louis plates for an area just north of downtown and another in today's Shaw & TGE n'hoods.

And also vacant commercial buildings. Though every time I’ve walked this area (most recently November 18th) I’ve seen people and pets living inside these buildings. I’ve seen that several people were rescued who were living there but worry others weren’t so lucky. www.firstalert4.com/2025/11/28/f...

THIS!! My godmother lives on the other end of the Nash's block & we had to come out of pocket for tarps, and finally got the (partial) payout that let us start the restoration work on the upper walls & roof at the beginning of October. Finding a contractor was another story. 😫

Seeing my godmother's house being restored makes me so happy!
And hearing the sounds of construction all around the neighborhood brings me even more joy & hope. Even though we lost some things on May 16th that we'll never get back, we will rebuild stronger & better than ever!

Trump also just posted these photos to Truth Social, including the one with Mamdani standing next to a portrait of FDR. Trump mentioned Mamdani asked if he could have his picture taken there.

"It's an amazing portrait in the cabinet room," Trump said. "So he's a big fan of the New Deal, I guess..."

And guess which one of those two phrases is actually in the Bible??
The first official US coin was the Fugio cent, rumored to have been designed by Ben Franklin.

Instead of "In God We Trust" (which wasn't put on coins until the Civil War) it said Mind Your Business.
