Let this photograph from 1966 put this rumor to rest please. Additionally, I'm pretty sure the build date of the building itself is on the facade, reading 1969, which lines up well with the extremely slow/gradual redevelopment of Mill Creek.
People keep asking me why I'm wearing a belt with an upside-down steer buckle with my work uniform.

Well, there are two reasons. 🎉😩
It being pitch black outside at 11 am is bringing back some May 16 trauma for me. #stlwx
BTW 9/2025 Street Views of the 1100-1200 blocks of N. Euclid have dropped. 💔
My favorite thing about Pierce is when all the media was like "Why do you stay with your wife now that she's fat & old?" (she looks great btw), & he shut them all down & waxed poetic about her being even more beautiful to him now than when they met.

So many buildings continuing to deteriorate with no help in sight. The owners applied for a demo permit last month (probably when they painted the house next door blue). Meanwhile, the former Euclid school next door is also deteriorating fast. 💔

It is shameful for things to be in a condition where this is an issue.

It has been MONTHS and we’re still at a place where ppl have to live in their ruined houses that could be even more dangerous w added water weight.

North St. Louis needs resources and help.

I don't think we're allowed to.
My dad's old neighbor Mrs. Archer lived here. She helped take care of him & his siblings when they were young & she would always have sweets for us kids when my dad brought us to visit.

Mayor Spencer should 📞 Greenstreet’s CEO & demand he pay his tax debts.

“The reality is we don’t have a reliable funding stream for that infrastructure for as long as I’ve been in city government,” she says, adding the deficit of roadway maintenance runs into the millions of dollars each year.

As #HispanicHeritageMonth ends, I’m reflecting on the contributions of the Hispanic & Latino communities that have strengthened St. Louis.

Let’s remember what’s at stake in our fight for a just future: equity and opportunity for all, including our Hispanic & Latino neighbors. 💜

Interview with Alderlady Clark-Hubbard (10th)

Some residents, she said, are living in tents, cars or tornado-damaged properties because they have nowhere to go.
“I heard this morning that we are projected to have a bad winter,” she said. “I am beyond scared for those constituents that are out here”
St. Louis Alderwoman Shameem Clark Hubbard still sees devastation in her 10th Ward months after the May 16 tornado.

“I can go in another neighborhood and see a constituent whose house still looks like May 16, and they don't know which way to turn.”
St. Louis Alderwoman Clark Hubbard says storm recovery is uneven in her 10th Ward
Two of Shameem Clark Hubbard’s constituents died in the tornado, and all eight of the neighborhoods in the 10th Ward north and east of Forest Park sustained some level of damage.

It was me. The "after effect" was me. Very cool for me as a Cards fan, but traumatizing to realize that I wasn't immaculately conceived.

One of my besties is watching the Deportes broadcast and says that every time someone strikes out they yell SIEEEEEEEENTATE and that they’ve been discussing Eugenio Suárez’s hair care regimen and I really need to learn Spanish.
I feel terrible for Angie Stone & D'Angelo's son. I can't imagine losing both of my parents within a few months. 💔
