I don't see a problem here. Male cheerleaders have always been a thing. FWIW, Presidents Franklin Roosevelt, Ronald Reagan, George W Bush and Eisenhower were also cheerleaders.

Being single is an exhausting, never ending quest to find people to do stuff with. And I don't mean someone you're interested in romantically. I mean just anybody to do stuff with. Most of my friends are married or have long term partnerships. It's a chore out there y'all.

Interestingly, the exact same thing happened prior to the Civil War. The state grabbed control of the STL police and separated the city from the county. The split remains to this day and has ruined region's economy by segregating populations and tax bases.
