Look, I enjoy living in a surveillance state just as much as the next guy, but I think our bare minimum should be “catch the mass murderers that do the murders in public.”
Gotta say it's mindblowing to me that the Brown shooter is still at large and they don't even seem to have identified who they're looking for.

I never know how my Gen Alpha daughter will react when I show her a classic clip like this; some things just don’t click. But this one was legit laugh out loud for her.

The cultural impact of Rob Reiner cannot be understated. Legend isn't big enough a word. It goes to 11. You can't handle the truth. As you wish. I'll have what she's having. I'm your number one fan. You guys wanna see a dead body? The very idea of a bucket list. The West Wing.

All from his movies.

Sam Altman: hey I made a machine that stole literally all your stuff in order to make CSAM of your child actors, sometimes it encourages people to kill themselves

Disney: Holy shit here's a billion dollars

Altman: the machine loses more than that each week but thank you. Soon it will become god.

This entire grift relies on convincing people that they don't know how to do the things they have always known how to do, and ironically, if it works, we will, in a very short amount of time, forget how to do all the things we have always known how to do.

They’re killing people as a twitter joke. It’s depraved. Can’t let yourself lose the capacity to be appalled and disgusted and outraged by this.

I remember seeing a post on twitter that made the point about life expectancy being so low way back when was not because everyone died at 40; it was because so many children died. If you made it past 15, you typically lived a long life.
Currently dorking out over this graph about child mortality with my brother. Just mind boggling to take in.

Just granted a wish and donated a small amount to another wish. Easy! Feels good! Do it if you can.
🧵 We are, in fact, doing the thing again for @onesimplewish.bsky.social. In 2024, the kind people of this community put the money cannon on blast to help grant $75K in wishes for children in foster care. Toys, tech, a suit for job interviews. Here we go again! 👇
