Bayan Haddad, of Birzeit University's School of English, just delivered a very moving talk at QUB on the scholasticide in Palestine. One line resonates in particular: "Palestine is like a lighthouse"; the genocide has shined a very revealing, scorching light on the terrible ills of the global North.

Hate the way people talk about autism. Deeming it unhealthy is eugenics. Is it really the worst thing a child could be? You think vaccines cause autism so you'd rather risk your child dying of meningitis? You'd prefer your child to die than be autistic? Horrible ppl.
