Honestly a pretty formative Pitchfork staff memory for me was when D'Angelo returned and started playing shows. I probably watched him cover "Space Oddity" 50 times when it happened. Black Messiah is a masterpiece. His cover of "Sometimes It Snows in April" still makes me cry. We didn't deserve him.

Heartbroken that, per his social media accounts, Drew Struzan has left us. His poster and album art was quite simply shorthand for imagination for countless young people.

E.T. Adventure poster, 1990. I still have one of these hanging in my childhood bedroom.

Star Wars Special edition triptych, 1997. I remember seeing all of these in the paper as each film was re-released and just felt a burst of energy those mornings.

Although I know that in order to transfer into 2 + 3 Barch program I have to have completed most of these, so I assume it would be the same if I had started and finished at one school vs transferring.

Learning to hand draft is OPTIONAL in my program. Which I think is nuts. I learned it at a different university already, and as much as I hated it, it was crucial to my education. I can't imagine never learning how to do that.

This is an AAS so maybe thats it? The school has articulation agreements with like 100 universities so you complete your Barch elsewhere.

That said, I did apply to several universities and their programs were pretty similar pathwise. Both here and abroad (uk).

They have really made a mess of things. Obviously depends on the school, but I am aware that this is pretty wide spread here and in the UK.

I am training simultaneously as a pilates teacher as a backup, and to help offset how much time I spend at the computer now. It actually pays double and triple what architecture does. Not what I want to do but I gotta eat and pay bills somehow.
