I replied to you then, "Is Palestine yours alone?" And I still try to uphold the pledge despite all the pain it carries.

Despite all the suffering, the mother’s heart inside me feels great relief and carries a dream of a new dawn for mothers.

Born September 23, 1979, Dr. Refaat Alareer was murdered by an Israeli airstrike in northern Gaza on December 6, 2023. The attack wiped out an entire branch of his family: his brother, sister, and four nephews were killed alongside him. Seven lives taken in one calculated strike.
