I was in Brussels for a great weekend with writers organized by the #EuropeanWritersSalon. Enjoyed Brussels and I might go back with my daughter to explore more. I always enjoy Honfleur! The church is my favorite in France.
(I can never take a vacation from writing it seems 🤣🤣)

Traveling is hard on #5amwritersclub members. 1) How to share hotel rooms with a partner who sleeps in?? 2) Where to find decent coffee at 5am? & 3) Breakfast start as late as 6:30? Or 8:00???!!! That’s crazy!

June was a month of heatwaves, family visits, a chance to tour Switzerland for these two empty nesters.

A Full House

I woke up this morning at my usual hour, five o’clock and went outside immediately. Before making myself a cup of coffee and settling at my desk to work, I take quick walks. Since we’re experiencing hot and dry weather, I’ve been watering the garden in addition to walking, and while the mornings are still cool enough to enjoy, I head out to pick strawberries.
