After getting useless advice from Miranda Doris goes to the fridge for a Dr Pepper to make her world taste better just like the old commercials circa the early 00s. Except she's out. Nary a Dr Pepper in the fridge. "Guess I'll go to the gas statio and grab a twenty ounce," she says and she grumbles out of her apartment and walks across the street to the gas station. But just as she walks up to the door Elaine pops out. "Oh!" she says.

The delaration is heard to mixed reactions by many other mecha pilots (not by Shinji Ikari, he is doing his best to ignore him).
