I tend to consider being blocked/banned to be a finality and, in cases of friends doing it, a monumental betrayal. So just undoing the actual block/ban isn't enough to undo everything. You need to make effort to repair things.

This just describes every company eagerly trying to jump into the AI MLM scheme, and that's what's been most insane about the whole fad: that none of the decision making people can do a few minutes of googling to see how negative the view of AI is. It really does scream "ivory tower".

Tell ya, the Switch has ruined me for aiming with a controller. Gyro controls are such a nice thing to have, doing it without is just tedious.

AVGN had an unfortunate domino effect on what people think criticism is supposed to look like, and that's no shade on him, James is playing a character, it's a comedy series not a true review series. Nostalgia Critic too, though he was doing the same kind of bit.

There is a big difference between "I don't think a good job was done adapting the source material" and "everyone involved should be ashamed how garbage they made this!"

Here, these are the three concept sketches I made for three of my characters. I hold no illusions about how rough they are, but I didn't use AI at all. I used A4 paper and a mechanical pencil and an ancient ass putty eraser. Wanna see what an artist was able to turn them into?

Well, that's the Heartslabyul part done. Riddle's much cuter when he's a free spirit. All VAs did well, but that Grim is @bendiskin.bsky.social is still kinda wild to me. But I also always like Paul when he's shown up in things since I learned who he was (via Freminet) and I'm running out of space.

We spoke to a dozen professional concept artists who are currently or have previously worked in game development about whether generative AI image tools have made their jobs any easier.
Zero said it did. Most said it made things harder.

I'm distrustful of games that have realistic graphics and all that nonsense. It's obviously trying to create a movie (copium for games eclipsing movies?) and if you're trying too hard to do that, you might be neglecting the actual game aspect (which is more important). That's not always the case...

One of the things I like with Legends ZA is that Pokemon appear more and more outside the Wild Zones as you go on. Mostly very city appropriate ones, but sometimes you get some surprises.
