jokes aside, can you imagine how you would handle it if you asked a human assistant "did you make all this up instead of actually doing any of the work", and that person responded to you with "good catch"
girl are you chatgpt because your KPIs are crazy
I think there's an interesting delta between the two (not that 2 is great representation, but it's markedly changed from the first)
I grumble about a lot of BBC news editorial decisions. However the change from lostprophets to paedophile as the start to this is exactly the right
As a kid I bought 1kg of really fizzy cola bottles and mainlined them. Stopped eating them at the point my tongue was bleeding...
wow.... so let me get this straight... we all care about men's mental health... until a man tries to end it all by eating 3kg of cola bottles over 3 days?.... I guess some of you aren't as "right on" as I thought you were smh.
Fucking hell Pellis
"It’s worth remembering that governments are not their people."
Sure Omid, but in this case you were being booked, paid for, and having your performance rules dictated by the government, and in fact performing on their behalf.
If I were an optimist I'd hope it was an end to the race to the bottom and campaigning purely on "we're not x", but sadly...

Starmer's trying to frame it that pro Palestine is anti jewish. It's so facile. I don't want jewish people to die. I don't want Palestinians to die. I do want our government to stop giving succour to an obviously radical theocratic government committing genocide.
Incredibly dangerous for a senior politician to suggest that there's some zero-sum game to be played between mourning the losses of Oct7 and protesting an ongoing genocide. And incredibly cynical given that the protests are directed at his own complicity

The thing about Thunberg is that you don’t have to like her or think she’s doing anything ‘meaningful’, any publicity to a cause is good and she holds a mirror or to world leaders being cunts and it may seem hollow but it’s not really
Fully deserving of each other
And the king has to authorise the government's existence.
It wasn't the noisiest place but gave them a go. I could hear everyone else at the table fine and they definitely cut down on the people behind me talking as well as the background music. Only thing I wasn't sure about, they made my voice sound quite boomy to me, but my other half said I was quiet.
NB, for the technicality, the delegated control of the armed forces is not to parliament, but to the defence council, less than half of which is made up of ministers.
So he's not the highest rank in the army? Might want to let him know.
I mean he does already have an army doesn't he? Not sure they got their uniform printed online though
You're a nonce or a bot, either way nobody cares what you have to say
Nobody gives a fuck about America, you always thought you were more important than you were and you're now a dying country under a fascist regime.
If I had more tin foil in my wardrobe it would be enough to make me highly suspicious of the government's current behaviours.
The extremely bad faith argument that people shouldn't protest a genocide because of a horrific terrorist attack on a synagogue is so deeply offensive to me. It pitches the protestors against Jewish people which is not in any way true.
Violence is universally bad, even if you consider it justified you should still acknowledge that it is bad, and it is vanishingly rare that anything other than in the moment self defence is justified.
I've only taken them for a few test runs, but tried in a full Lowry pre show and could still talk to my friend with ease and definitely dampened the hubbub.
I'm going out for lunch today to a busy place, so taking them to try in that setting

The Home Office sham "consultation" on cumulative protests closed on 29 September, so this immediate announcement shows Labour had already decided – yet again – to expand public order powers, well before the Manchester attack that is now used to justify it
