I see so much stuff like this & I need people to get that biding their time for better days & not pushing back is securing his legacy for generations. The people who support him are insane- they aren’t just going to go “well that was nice, back to not being able to say horrible stuff” when he dies.

Could not have summed up Trump & his administration better than this quote.
History will see that he manufactured chaos because he had nothing good to offer. No vision. No ideas. Just tearing down what others have built, and blamed others for his shortcomings.
Generations will be taught he was nothing but a pathetic Con man and a failure.

Miss Major Griffin-Gracy passed away today according to the House of GG. She was a veteran of the Stonewall rebellion and a lifelong organizer for the safety and dignity of trans people, sex workers, and the incarcerated. She came from the same generation and milieu as Marsha and Sylvia. She was 78.

We can be quite a susceptible bunch in the UK, though. I recently had a cab driver who went on a talk radio-fuelled rant about teachers turning kids trans in schools with drag shows, and then when I asked him how many of his problems in life were caused by drag queens, he said, "ah, none".

2 years ago I went to an event where anti trans people were protesting against trans people existing and the same year I went to trans day of remembrance as 1 support for my friend and 2 unofficial security in case someone tried to start violence, against trans people in mourning but ok Susan.
