For fun, I redesign bad branding, research strange historical coincidences, suck at guitar and bonsai, excel at raising powerful kids.

“If you want a follow-back…”
No.
Follow me if you want to follow me and I’ll do the same.
This is not a transactional relationship.
I only play Christmas songs from Thanksgiving to New Years Eve, but I have collected thousands of covers and new songs.
There are at least 3-5 good new releases a year.
People who have worked retail talking about the horror of having to listen to the same holiday tunes over & over in December and I am grateful that when I worked retail I was the only person in the store & had control of the CD player in the back room.

While I’m angry that my humor book Disalmanac: A Book of Fact-Like Facts was used to train LLMs, it’s also kind of hilarious because every fact in the book is WRONG. 😂

Something magical about seeing a cyclist pull off their metallic blue helmet and shake out their metallic blue hair.

I don’t even believe in the two I’ve seen.
do you believe in ghosts or are you like me, a person who finds themself saying all the time “I absolutely don’t believe in ghosts, but this place has ghosts.”

If you see this, post your getaway vehicle.

Seriously, just changing the font has made me avoid some apps. It's like altering the seasoning of my favorite meal; no functional difference, but completely different experience.
I am increasingly of the opinion that people who change menus and look and feel of computer software just so that you know it's a new version should be personally forced to play tech support to my mother for five months.

First twenty minutes of home repair was dismantling and repairing the jigsaw.

So now I know how to do that too.

Family refuses to entertain my dream of a tater tot, chicken nugget, and fried cheese curd ‘salad’.

I’m willing to garnish with cherry tomatoes and drench in ranch.

Slowly removing and patching cat flaps. Previous owner cut them everywhere; outside doors, stucco walls, even through an interior wall (unheated pantry into kitchen). They were ‘closed’ but not sealed, some boarded over but not insulated, and definitely not mouse-proofed.

Been tormenting kids with Tame Impala's latest, slightly tweaked.

"In the end, I hope it's you and me
In the darkness, I would never leave (I won't leave her)
We both saw this moment comin' from afar
Now here we are

Slamming in the back of my Dragula... (3x)
Isn't the view spectacula'?"

I am seeing rumors that 45 69'd 42 and Epstein provided video to Putin?

@kbspangler.com, I think you once offered to kill me, does that still stand?

If I ever ran for anything, I would hire a bunch of Trader Joe’s sign painters to design all my materials.

Just cracked up my kids with 8squared plus3.
IT'S '6-7', COOPER. A GENERATION ALPHA TREND. WHAT THEY CALL A 'MAY-MAY'. IT'S AN ORPHANED SIGNIFIER, NO SIGNS ATTACHED. ONE COULD CALL IT DADAIST, BUT SOMME SAY IT'S TOO STUPID TO BE DADA. IT'S ANTI-MEANING, ANTI-HUMOUR, BUT DAMN IF THOSE KIDS DON'T FIND IT A CRACK-UP.

Wow. Can't say much else. The overhead corona was unbelievable. The most intense reds and greens. ❤️💚😍💃 She'll be dancing until sunrise.

I visited Franconia Sculpture Park over summer and it has been on my aurora photo bucket list ever since. That's where I went last night.

Going to drive north after dinner.

I am not a native Minnesotan. But I know what day it is.

If you are looking for alternative covers, avoid the Dandy Warhols and Richard Cheese, but maybe give the Dead Morticians a chance.

I question the abilities of any reporter who sees this and says ‘appears to close his eyes’.
You can’t tell his eyes are closed and you want me to trust your reportage?

Cleaning out weird liminal exterior closet. It’s 2x4x14 feet high with a dirt floor.

We’ve lived here two years and never used it. Found mouse-vulnerable entry points into 4 different rooms on three floors.

Gonna seal and insulate that sucker.
