And I think that's what it was supposed to mean when people said high school was the best time of your life. Objectively, high school sucks, but there were good and fun things I'm able to look back on and even excitedly wish I could improve upon.

At the high school I went to, we had this thing called the acoustic rock show. It was a night when students would cover songs live on stage. Anyway, every now and then, I come across a song that makes me go, "I wish I was still in high school so we could play this at the acoustic rock show."

And something about how the kid's friend said "it's the movie with that lady" got to me lol. Can't get mad at kids for not knowing old stuff, but I sure as hell can laugh at how they describe them. Like excuse me sir? Julie Andrews as "that lady"? Hilarious.

Yesterday one of my students asked me if I can pronounce "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" to which I started singing the song. He then asked "what's that" so I told him "it's from Mary Poppins" he's still confused and his friend immediately goes "Yea it's the movie with that lady".
