i just opened my freezer for the first time today and a singular small fruit fly came flying out. my entire understanding of biology is shattered.
im gonna use this exactly how i use the Kenney all in one pack - throw it on my extra hard drive as an excellent offline resource of usable assets.
just putting some proof that i can beat my own game 💅

10 new levels dropping today or Monday on Itch depending on how my focus is today (i only played the Dogpile demo from @folly.studio for about two hours this morning sooo yeah)

it feels so good just testing out new platforming levels/mechanics and just haphazardly slapping down notes to make a neat little bop

im really excited for what this game looks like in a few months. i think it could be an awesome submission for the February Next Fest 😈

any recommendations for sites that manage posting lil clips to tiktok/insta/shorts on a schedule?

i'd like to start accounts for SongRunner but all the overhead of scheduling on each platform has deterred me in the past

my brother it is called "staccato" and it means the notes are very short and thus the platforms you create are also quite short

having a really weird issue with OBS recording my screen upside down and i found a troubleshooting conversation on reddit from someone with the same issue that really made me giggle
finished silksong today with 100% completion. absolutely phenomenal what team cherry was able to cook. i do think the game needs some difficulty options, but if you can manage without them, theres such a wonderfully weird world waiting to be explored. one of my all time favorites without a doubt.
lmaooo i dont think theyre too hard!!! i did like... a good BRISK run of a level and then added a little bit of time. but like, ive also been staring at these levels for two months now sooo

oh no Matt how good did you make the speedrun times!
i didnt know how badly i needed this godot 4.5 feature oh my god
been spending like.. idk a couple weeks in a row on just menus and UI, and dont get me wrong it's satisfying seeing it slowly come together, but gosh it's not quite as exciting as building out new game mechanics and design.

but hey, i think it looks pretty acceptable
