This goes for muse-focused fans too - all genders inclusive. It’s fucking weird to flood a person’s social media with comments about your shipping desires and theories, particularly if it’s clear they have moved on to a new life. I’m not the comment police but if I was I’d tell you to knock it off

I think combing thru her lyrics to see if she's secretly a MAGA Yahtzee is not productive, but having a real conversation about how white liberal women can propagate harmful rhetoric and stereotypes and uphold conservative institutions can be. (I don't think most of us this TS is a leftist.)

It was a spring afternoon in West Florida. <
Janie had spent most of the day under a blossoming pear tree in the back-yard.
She had been spending every minute tha she could steal from her chores under thu.
tree for the last three days. That was to
say, ever since the first tiny bloom had opened. It had called her to come and gaze on a mystery. From barren brown stems to glistening leaf-buds; from the leaf-buds to snowy virginity of bloom. It stirred her tremendously. How? Why? It was like a flute song forgotten in another existence and remembered again. What? How?
Why? This singing she heard that had nothing to do with her ears. The rose of the world was breathing out smell. It followed her through all her waking moments and caressed her in her sleep. It connected itself with other vaguely felt matters that had struck her outside observation and buried themselves in her flesh.
Now they emerged and quested about her consciousness.

I thought the same thing while I was watching . Taylor sort of said she wants us to be museless during the eras tour (she said it without directly saying it) so I am trying to retrain myself to think about her music differently and not automatically try and connect it with a muse.

That engagement really did it's job.

I think of Tree's role in all this like an illustrator for a graphic novel that has been adapted from prose. She's an artist in all this in her own right and the handling of the PR of it all has been EXCELLENT

I'm ready to see her burn it all down, but I think the 16 months comment on the podcast is her timeline. This year is her honoring her career in her own words & power, ending the Era. Next year is the start of a life without constant reinvention and performative identities. Hang on a little longer.

I’ve been thinking about it a lot and I think there is far too much film footage from this year post-TTPD for it to just be a tour documentary. I think there is a plan to do some kind of multi part docu-series with episodes, probably on Disney+. I can imagine a few different framings -
