A surprising choice by the Nobel Committee. One (US-centric) interpretation is they didn’t want to give it to Trump but figured giving it to a Trump ally who is a genuine anti-authoritarian leader would mollify him. And encourage him to pursue peace at a time when he’s pursuing military escalation.

These lyrics are horrible. What is this infatuation with homogeneity (and whiteness ofc) that we are seeing everywhere???

Can I also say I am so angry today. It's the lives lost, the cities wiped out, the time taken from us. We have been consumed with this level of unspeakable violence for 2 years. To think of all the potential futures taken away... it's unfathomable

“this is yet another way to control women; another way to reduce us to walking wombs rather than multidimensional human beings. This war on Tylenol is also very much a war on women”

So much energy and righteous anger here after the horrifying attack against a woman by an ICE thug earlier today.

1/ I’m Till Eckert, a ProPublica reporter. For the past 2 weeks, I’ve been going to the same NY immigration courthouse.

Nearly every time, I see ICE agents arresting immigrants. Today, a woman was slammed to the ground after begging officials not to take her husband away.

Normalcy isn’t clickable
I keep seeing articles about 'scientists baffled by unexpected finding' and it's always something like 'people who exercise feel better.' Are scientists actually chronically baffled or do we just have a journalism problem where normalcy isn't clickable?
