As much as I try to stop wasting the mental energy (not to mention torment), I still ponder the unlimited possibilities for a different world had the 2000 Florida recount been allowed to go on.

notice the general mood of the timeline? how everyone is in a good mood and there’s a lot less misery and dooming? how there’s a lot of “we’re going to beat these assholes”?

anyway that’s why these events are important
Jeepers. So glad no serious injuries.
Trump's America
A grain bin filled with soybeans collapsed in Iroquois County, Illinois, taking out power lines but causing no injuries.
A reminder - be aware that police will lead groups to arrest zones. Thousands were arrested in DC on 5/3/1971 for crossing - often at police direction - arbitrary and invisible “police lines”.
Use caution - especially if you see buses (for transport of mass arrestees) roaming/parked nearby protests.

In ‘71, I believe the goal was to “process” (fingerprint and photograph) as many as possible. With today’s tech that could lead to a lifetime of trouble for innocent people exercising their rights.
Be peaceful - and practice heightened situational awareness.

There is no conceivable argument that these ships, even if we assume they were carrying narcotics, could not be dealt with in some other way. I think we can just drop the caveats and say: This is mass murder.
Unless and until some kind of compelling legal and moral argument is presented as to why this is a legitimate use of deadly force, this is just…mass murder.
The military has now killed 27 people as if they were enemy soldiers in a war zone and not criminal suspects. www.nytimes.com/2025/10/14/u...
Jeepers no…(1) kinetic resistance is what the regime hopes for - why give them what they seek; (2) I’m pretty sure outcomes would have been different in the 60’s if protesters in civil rights movement were violent.
I take your point. I wonder if perhaps we shouldn’t take the regime’s bait.
Maybe it’s a good thing if over exuberant anti-Trump players are taken off the field by their own coaches and not the regime “refs”. Only 100% PEACEFUL has a chance at winning the day.
Please don’t forget Susie Wiles. A huge presence in the background who is most experienced of them all. She is strategic, the others are tactical.
So what’s their complaint?

Watching the news report on the president's greasy little grift as a customer satisfaction story and not, you know, This is Deeply Unconstitutional and Also Fucking Embarrassing as Hell
Is it time to make “Recovering Christian” a thing?
With sincerity, thanks for your service. Agree 100%
Good job! I wound up w/ approx. 7k in DC jail courtyard. Life changing experience. Obscured ID on uniformed law enforcement. Witnessed several unprovoked baton head bashings.
This makes me change plans from attending local No Kings to schlepping to DC. I have ‘good trouble’ experience gained from arrest on May 3, 1971. A sad but perhaps appropriate bookend for this boomer.
