This has basically become my line with students: don’t use AI for your assignments as it might be wrong, and if you don’t do the work, you won’t know it’s wrong (but I will!). So you have to do the work either way…
This is the problem with AI as info source in a nutshell. You can't take what it says as true. You have to check.
But if you check, it's no longer a time saver.
And some assume AI means never having to check. Esp when it sounds so smooth & plausible.
