I may be tired and a little hoarse, but as I said again and again on the Senate floor, this is a moment where we cannot afford to be silent, when we must speak up.

Warm, soft bagels that are both chewy and pull-y.
What’s a small, underrated joy in life?

one thing i’m stuck on is this idea that “masculine” energy means license to act like a chud in public, as opposed to more traditional notions of public masculinity, such as those that put a premium on the performance of integrity, honesty, honor and generosity.

Ripley essentially comes to this conclusion in “Aliens.”
Here is my strongest personal belief: the worst animal is better than the best human.

Nothing is as bad as it seems at first.
Tell me a sentence someone told you that changed your life for the better.

These people eliminated 190 million dollars in childhood cancer research money to pay for tax cuts for the wealthiest corporations in human history. I’m a no.

We cannot win if voters get their news about Democrats from Republicans.

Our party needs to show up everywhere if we want to beat the GOP’s edge and reshape the information environment.

That means deploying great communicators to deliver effective messages – everywhere.

As I know because I’ve seen the whole (awesome and inspiring) interview, he doesn’t want to hear this, but: Ben Wikler for President 🇺🇸.

This guy rules.
Let’s build a stronger Democratic Party that delivers for working people—across all our communities.

Let's organize year-round, communicate everywhere, and remind everyone what we really stand for.

Wray's pathetic capitulation is even more baffling because so much of what Trump says he's going to do never happens. If Kash Patel's nomination fizzled, there was a decent chance Trump would just let it ride with Wray until 2027.
Wray hasn't done anything worthy of getting fired by Trump and should've made him do it

I love this coaching philosophy.
While what Campbell does often aligns with what analytics suggests about fourth-down decisions, very much think his logic is "What is the other team afraid we'll do?" and not "What do the numbers say?"
The way I look at is this: Do you think Packers fans wanted them to go for it or kick the field goal and give them the ball back? If I’m a GB fan I was hoping for the latter.

@jamellebouie.net is one of my favorite follows; and this thread is an example of why.

And while I’m at it, I wrote about this awesome movie, too. Check it out.

Love this.

Potentially underrated element: the 1% who stay on the line? They believe they’ve got some air-worthy story to tell.
LIFE HACK: Answer your phone "Hello you're on the air" and 99% of the time people will just hang up.

Thanksgiving this year is also the 333rd day of the year. To commemorate that confluence, I wrote about the film I’m as thankful for as any other, in the most 3-friendly way I could. Enjoy!

Not the only one, but for me it starts and ends with the wizard himself, David Enelow.

I knew he was great at the time, but I didn’t truly get how great until I started teaching myself. And going back to watch him teach (as a teacher myself) took it to a whole new level.
Obv I'm biased but I love hearing about teachers you remember changing your life

This is one of my favorite accounts on any platform: this cow is funny, principled, empathetic, and brave.
Thank you! Nearly 100000 followers and still going!

No bots, no ugly comments.🦋

Last time my account grew this fast a member of one branch of the government tried to use a second branch to destroy my life. There’s evidence the third branch helped, too.

Thank you for sticking by me all this time♥️🐮

Ricky Henderson.

Revolutionized the game. Set unbreakable records. An offensive force unto himself, and dictated the course of a game as much as any player ever.
Tell me the most underrated baseball player ever.

Pacific Rim

Big and dumb and stupid and fun. It’s beautiful and confident. No film more openly (and effectively) says, “Here’s what we’re doing; get on board or get out.”

I love love love it.
name a film you always recommend.
