My MC’s sister swears a lot. It’s weird to write because I don’t, but I’m not here to tell Becca who she is.
It started as a kid, when the swear jar money was going to be used for Disneyland funds.
Now, she struggles to get her four-year-old to stop using “Mommy words.”

Prior to moving to Wisconsin, I experienced exactly one day in the single digits.
Just one. But the plus side is that 20 degrees feels downright balmy.
Still prefer this to triple digits in the desert though!

I’m going to treat reading like running. For now, it’s about finishing that marathon. Every race is a chance to improve my form and get a better time.

I miss a lot about PDX. Rain, trees that stay green in the winter, more good food than you’ll ever get to eat - but not the 10-ish pounds I left there due to lack of said good food.
