My heart breaks for the two National Guardsmen and innocent bystander who were shot outside the White House today.

Republicans and Democrats in Congress should demand that Trump tell Congress what his war aims are in Venezuela. If they're going to sit back and let him decide when and if the US goes to war, the least they can do in Congress is find out what he intends and maybe even why.

I am shocked and appalled by the shooting of two members of the National Guard in Washington D.C. today.
There's still a lot we don't know about the shooting. In the meantime, I'm hoping the victims fully recover. My prayers are with them and their loved ones.
