Using gen ai for text and asset placeholders is not solving a problem; games have been made for decades with regular placeholders. studios using AI this way are just testing the water to see what more they can get away with - which will inevitably mean laying off skilled workers, to make worse games

It's almost 2026, at this point in time everyone in the industry knows what GenAi is and where it came from. It doesn't matter what you use it for, even if it's "just for references" (which also?? 🤡). If you value human craft you should avoid it like the plague, it's that simple.

I'm quite happy with myself, with a grand total of 22 attacks and 24 (25 counting Neph') character drawn ! It's almost twice as much as last year !!

It was really fun, it helped me testing out some things and trying to find what was working for me !
