Solidarity with trans women after today’s Supreme Court ruling.

The rollback of LGBT rights — especially trans rights — is global, bankrolled by billionaires and the far-right.

Trans rights are human rights. We must defend the Equality Act and its protections for trans people.
Fab 🙌
What’s the inking pen you’re using btw?

Quakers have a long history of nonviolent direct action. At the time, this is often viewed as criminal.
History, however, normally judges differently.
The UK government needs to have a hard think about which side it wants to be on.
Not in living memory has a Quaker Meeting House been violated like this.
🚨 Outrage as 20 police officers break into Westminster Quaker Meeting House and arrest six. 🚨
This shocking violation of a place of worship is a direct result of crackdowns on protest and dissent - freedom of speech, assembly and democracy are at risk.🕊️

Hey, artists, in case you were wondering if your work matters: I'm a scientist working on climate change and biodiversity, and I would not be who I am today without The Lorax, The Secret of NIMH, Watership Down, The Last Unicorn, and The X-Files. I know I'm not alone. Thank you for all you do.

Not that far back, we were all black.
A study of ancient DNA from people who lived in Europe between 1700 and 45,000 years ago suggests that 63 per cent of them had dark skin and 8 per cent had pale skin, with the rest somewhere in between.
Most Europeans may have had dark skin until less than 3000 years ago
Ancient DNA from 348 individuals suggests that pale skin became the predominant characteristic of people living in Europe much later than assumed

😂 How ever did you survive Durham 😆
I would love to see you next time I’m down in London, I can’t believe how long it’s been!
Living a 10 min journey from this beach and from Liverpool city centre is a very happy compromise
I grew up in the midlands, moved here 25 years ago and I don’t think I could bear to be away from the sea again 🥰 I love London and all the amazing food and entertainment it has to offer, but can only do about 3 days before I get overwhelmed and need a horizon and some super fresh air 😆
