Yesterday's political violence disturbs me greatly. Our Constitution gives us Free Speech. I'm very encouraged, however, that our Federal Legislatures came together to denounce this violence. Let's build on those bipartisan efforts.

The Supreme Court just decided that it’s okay for ICE to profile people for the way they look or the language they speak.

Arizona has been here before and we remember the damage it caused in our communities. This is unacceptable.

I totally support @repcasar.bsky.social bill to reverse cuts to Texas's FEMA funding. The tragic flooding in the Central Texas Hill Country is only one example of how vital these federal monies are! 27 children and counselors were killed in this flooding.

The Statesman is right. Texans are desperate for real disaster relief and can't afford a weaker FEMA.

But earlier this year, Trump recklessly slashed FEMA's funding.

Congress needs to pass my bill to reverse Trump's cuts and restore crucial resources.

Cutting free black lung screenings could raise death totals
"I don't think it's hyperbole to say that eviscerating NIOSH, as they have, will cause people to die.”

Trump said he’d fight for workers. He lied.

He's slashing safety programs. And working people — from a state he won by 40% — are paying the price.

Americans must ask themselves: if President Trump feels emboldened to illegally arrest elected officials for not agreeing with him, what laws will he break next?

Who will be left to stand in his way?

He dishes on how Democrats messed up the 2024 election, says they need to redefine their brand on workers & wages to combat Trump's culture wars.

Drainage issues and possible flooding are slowing down Mobility improvements. Project planning estimates MUST include costs for draining/ flooding concerns. Otherwise scarce tax payer $$ will be wasted.

There's more than that. But the biggest reason by far is that we accept it. This should be a scandal! #atxcouncil should be apologizing to voters and doing an inquiry. But mostly, staff and Council treat it as normal.

Let's do better.
