Now that I am older, Kaya no longer intervenes to save me from punishments, other than request that I be given water, protein bars, and bathroom breaks while caged in the crate. To make #matters worse, my fellow cadets come and poke me with rods or toss the crate around.

I don't care what happens to the two Earthian male hostages, but the female child breaks my heart. She's not eating and calls for her mother night and day. I worry for her #health. My twin sister died right before my eyes when we were about the age of this young girl.

Arandan tradition requires a pre-wedding trek into the jungle meant to represent the challenges we will face in marriage. I'm not sure what to expect, but the journey seems to be a #timed event, because Montor keeps us going for hours straight until I ask for a rest stop.

Today I listened
to certain songs

if you found me,
