Amu Gib is extremely frail
For 10 days the prison refused to acknowledge she was on hunger strike

Another prisoner, Qesser (20), has dangerously low BP + high heart rate, blocked from hospital care

They're political prisoners held without trial
They must be bailed and proper medical treatment 🇵🇸

"Failed US military involvement in Somalia led to massacres and left more than a million people as refugees forced to emigrate." The US amplified civil war in Somalia in the 1990s. Now the govt wants to criminalise and deport people who rebuilt their lives safe from the terrors.
About 100 Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents have descended on Minneapolis for Operation Metro Surge, a new phase of the Trump Administration’s crackdown on immigrants, this time targeting the city’s Somali population.

Not just US residents are affected by Palantir's products. They've already worked with the IDF, and have contracts with several German police forces, Norway's customs agency, UK's NHS and more. All our tax payers fund their surveillance and profiling algorithms. We must all be deeply concerned.
Billions of your tax dollars are going to Palantir Technologies, the backbone of Trump's anti-immigrant police state.

If they don't want to see people living in the UK represented on the BBC they should stop paying the licence fee and not watch the BBC. They can vote with their wallets! It's wild that tabloids love to enrage people with this nonsense. But for luck of birth, any of could be asylum seekers. 🙄
The Express is furious about this because the moment you show those who repeat anti-immigration rhetoric the real human stories their narrative collapses.

The “immigrants” are people. Our friends, colleagues and family.

And it’s this nation of neighbours that is what makes Britain great.
