Look I know all these poll numbers and election results are hella exciting for both the Democratic candidates and party, but never underestimate the ability of Schumer and Jeffries to fuck this up. All it takes is one stern letter instead of action to utterly destroy the morale of the base.

They straight up murdered Alex in the street. I don’t know what would happen to me if a member of my VA care team was murdered like that. They play such a vital role in my continued physical and mental health. I can’t bring myself to think about not having every member of my VA care team.

Talked to a Somali man today who said his mosque last night was surrounded by neighbors ready to protect them against ICE if needed. Made me feel proud to live in this city.
