Find me on X:
@democrats.senate.gov : you’re either ignorant, oblivious or just don’t give a effing crap.

The leadership has to go. @schumer.senate.gov is no friend to anyone.
If Democrat lawmakers trust Republicans with negotiations, who the hell
are we fighting for… Cowards? Or imbeciles?

i think this is key. taking the deal would amount to taking the blame. it would turn a clear political victory into an unambiguous defeat.
If the Dems blink after all of this, for a deal that all but ensures no ACA subsidies in 2026 anyway, then what was the purpose of letting the shutdown go for 40 days in the first place?

Casual reminder that the myth of “pulling yourself up by your bootstraps” is a cruel hoax designed to convince poor people from all walks of life that the injustices they face are a result of their own actions, rather than an oppressive system rigged against them.

Walmart and McDonald’s are among the top employers of workers who rely on food stamps.

McDonald's CEO raked in $18.2M last year — over 1,000x the company's median employee pay.

Walmart's CEO pocketed $27.4M — 930x the company's median employee pay.

See the problem?

The 400 richest Americans are now worth a record $6.6 trillion.

The entire bottom 50% of America is worth just $4.2 trillion.

Read that back.

When 400 people control more wealth than half a country’s population, we have a very serious problem.

Under Trump, America is becoming a totalitarian, quasi-religious empire.

Zohran Mamdani campaigned a lot and appears not to hate the voters whose support he's seeking. Here's what other Democrats can learn from his unorthodox strategy.

I’m done with old dems who won’t get out of the way for new dems.

You don’t care about Americans.

You care about your donors, your super PACs, your lobbyists.

Your hesitation to endorse @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social spoke VOLUMES. @schumer.senate.gov @hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social

genuinely crazy-making how much the national press is indifferent to the verifiable fact that jd vance is buddy buddy with internet nazis, and the degree to which this is almost certainly a form of solidarity among people with a similar institution pedigree
mainstream media report on jd vance’s twitter mutuals, challenge level: impossible
He has already chosen, what the fuck are we doing here

In so many ways, the vibrancy of our city can be judged by the health of our bodegas.

That’s why I’m so proud to be in the Bronx this morning to accept the endorsement of the United Bodegas of America.

Amazon just announced 14,000 layoffs. Its CEO made over $40M last year.

UPS announced 48,000 layoffs. Its CEO made over $24M last year.

Intel announced 20,000 layoffs. Its new CEO's pay package is valued at nearly $69M.

This is what I mean when I say the system is rigged.

Just to be clear who’s to blame for SNAP cutoff:

1. Trump admin claims that a $5B emergency fund can’t be used for it.

2. Thune said Trump wants to use SNAP cutoff as leverage.

3. 22 Dem states filed a lawsuit about it.

4. Dems willing to join many Rs for SNAP bill but Thune is blocking vote.
