8. They talk through a lot of problems with each other. Inquisition and Seeker stuff but also family, trauma, etc. Cass affirms that Evelyn is a good leader. Evelyn makes Cass feel seen as more than just a warrior. Both of them quote romantic (and sexy!) chant verses, but Cass knows them best.

7. Evelyn shows her love with little bits of magic (icing her bruises!), bringing cups of tea by Cassandra’s office, drawing fancy baths.

Cassandra shows hers by physical touch, braiding Ev’s hair, talking her down from anxiety.

3. Cassandra’s character means the absolute world to me. I started writing fic because I had Strong Feelings about Cassandra’s sexuality, and my very underdeveloped Inky Evelyn evolved into my beautiful babygirl.

2. They do because I’m a sucker for that shit. Started with just my love/my dear per letters in DAI and DAV but I’ve also added sweetheart (usually Evelyn to Cass) and darling (usually Cass to Evelyn). Just felt right! Since darling is an Emmrich thing, I like to imagine it’s popular in Nevarra.
