Who is jaecoo? Are linked to any other brands?

South Australia look even better that day. They basically turned off all the solar farms and let the rooftops and wind farms run the show

Once you approve the quote I bet the Aussie job will be install and operational in 1/4 the time as well.

Baseload = inflexible, either technically or financially or both.
The sooner it’s gone the better.

Cape Byron light house?

Has no maintenance plan.

That buys a lot of brand new wind turbines with fresh warranty periods.

It’s clear that being minister for the environment doesn’t mean you have to be for the environment

We all should apply for ice office jobs. Step one send one team to a site. Step 2 send a second team to the same spot but tell them there is a group of men pretending to be ice. Step 3 sit back and watch the mayhem.

Why does the simulation prefer to charge the storage on solar rather than the first available renewable source (nighttime wind when in surplus)

Aus could hit those forecasts numbers this year

Just looked at open electricity: both brown and black coal totals for 23, 24 and 2025 q3 are all slightly down. What am I missing?

I saw a sea lion 7 today. A bit lower and longer than it looks in the pictures. Certainly smaller than the sea lion 6 on the outside at least.

*has NOT slowed them down

My state (NSW, Australia) law says edge protection must be used. That’s have slowed them down. Today At midday the state is 57% rooftop solar powered plus another 23% utility scale solar. Add in wind sand we’re at 90% renewables, that may be a record high.

Australia’s federal government announced a 30% discount on Home batteries back in July. Many people are getting solar for the first time or expanding their existing system. When they get the battery installed I heard on Friday that the current install rate is about 1000 batteries per day.

Yes, particularly at the more extreme northern and southern latitudes.

True, I’m surprised by how long it took California to get there. For reference Australia is 4.5 years
