I saw that this morning too. There was another case in Chicago where ICE illegally put up a fence across a road near a facility and a judge has ordered it taken down.

I worked with elderly dementia patients for years, and inappropriate sexualized behavior is extremely common. More than once, someone who had likely lived their whole lives as a rural conservative masculine pillar of the community type would overtly make a pass at me in front of other people.

I hate to think what boys and young men are learning from watching such behavior and how it makes girls and young women. Parents need to teach that this is not acceptable.

I think one of the biggest cleavages in our society that no one talks about is the division between those that think powerful people must be held to a higher standard than non-powerful people and those who think powerful people should be flattered and sucked up to.
